Star Bursts

The Starting Position

Start your star bursts by standing straight. Feet shoulder width apart. Hands by your sides.

The Motions

Squat down, putting your hands on the floor by the inside of your feet. With a single motion jump back up extending your hands above your head as you jump as high as you can manage.

As you land go straight into the next squat-and-jump sequence.

The whole move needs to be performed in one fluid motion.

The Technique

Take special care that your knee points forward, and is not going over your foot.

Star Bursts are a very dynamic full-body exercise. It's kind of an extension of Burpees, but with an added "burst" of energy at the end :o)
